The memory card is a small chip that stores data files such as music, games, photos and videos inside many digital appliances. They are usually removable and rewritable, which enables the users to change and modify the data that they store anytime they want to. A USB card reader is a typical card reader that may be connected and removable through a Type-A connector in the USB port of the computer, and a Type-B connector which is inserted in the Card Reader itself. With this, the data is accessed and transferred in the computer. Card readers usually have three types: Single Card Reader for 1x SD only, Multi Card Reader for most memory card formats, and the Series Card Reader for 4x SD only. A memory card reader may be built-in or as mentioned, removable and connected through a USB port. With this, it is read by the computer as a card reader and mass storage device.
Because of the need for larger storage capacity, the Memory Card can be the best item to have, since it has optimum storage capacity of up to two digit-gigabytes of data.
